Mor Dayan

Your teams are working hard. So why is work still getting stuck?

Business Operations Partner

I connect data, people, and day-to-day operations to create clarity and alignment around what needs to happen, at each stage, and who owns it. I lead execution with the teams until the solution works in practice.

8+ years of experience leading teams, launching operations, and improving performance, from my service in Unit 8200 to B2B and B2C companies in tech, fintech, and e-commerce.

Experience and results

A few of my success stories

SLA attainment improved from 78% to 89%

An 11% improvement in six weeks at a fast-growing fintech company.

Around 43% growth in monthly sales

From an average of approximately AUD 700K to AUD 1,000,000 within around six months.

Leading teams and managers

Managing global teams

Ways to work together

I don’t stop at diagnosis or recommendations. I stay accountable for implementation and for embedding the change with the teams.

Defined project

Do you have a specific operational challenge?

I lead a project from understanding the challenge and identifying bottlenecks, through designing a solution, to implementing it with the teams and embedding it in their day-to-day work.

Ongoing partnership

Do you need ongoing operational leadership?

I join as a part-time or external Operations Partner, working with leadership and teams to run the operation, improve processes, and build effective ways of working.

What I do

Launching a new operation

I build the foundations for execution: the work plan, ownership, teams, processes, and systems. Then I lead implementation until the operation is running on the ground.

Improving performance and operations

I map bottlenecks, review how resources are allocated, and connect data to day-to-day work so teams can improve performance and make informed decisions.

Leading cross-functional process improvement

I connect the people involved, clarify goals and ownership, and lead execution until the new process is embedded in the work.

How I work

  1. Map how work gets done

I speak with leadership and the people doing the work, review the data, and identify what is slowing execution down.

  2. Define what needs to change

I set priorities, goals, and clear ownership, then build a practical plan with the team.

  3. Lead implementation

I work alongside the teams, remove roadblocks, and embed processes and tools into day-to-day work.

  4. Build the team’s ability to keep improving

I make sure the team has the knowledge, ownership, and measurement tools to keep improving and making decisions.

Selected work

Fintech

Improving SLA attainment from 78% to 89% in six weeks

At a fintech company that grew from 20 to 100 employees, work allocation and staffing had not kept pace with growth. I mapped the bottlenecks and worked with team leads to clarify task allocation and productivity tracking. I also coached them on people management and using data to make decisions.

E-commerce

From an average of around AUD 700K to AUD 1M in monthly sales

I led the end-to-end business operations of an Australian toy company, with sales and warehouses in Australia and a team across five countries.

I owned marketing, suppliers and purchasing, warehousing and fulfillment, customer service, finance, and pricing. Together with the team, we expanded the product range, improved the online shopping experience, and strengthened marketing.

We reorganized the website’s menus and categories, added age-based filtering, improved product descriptions and imagery, optimized the mobile experience, and simplified checkout. We also introduced email recommendations based on previous purchases.

Within around six months, monthly sales grew from an average of approximately AUD 700K to AUD 1M in October - around 43% growth. We reached the target a month ahead of schedule, and sales continued to grow in November and December.

About me

Room to breathe. Room to build.

After several years in central Israel, my family and I left Givatayim and moved to the Galilee.

Now, from our new home in Atzmon, I’m building my next professional chapter too. I bring my experience and the work I do best: joining an organization, understanding how it operates, seeing what could work better, and leading change together with the people who make it happen.

We really loved Givatayim - its people, friendly neighbors, and sense of home. But after our second daughter was born, we wanted more nature and space.

We visited friends in Rosh Pina, and suddenly, from their living room, we could see the sky and the Sea of Galilee. We asked ourselves: Why not?

That’s how we made another dream come true and moved to Atzmon. We found a home we loved, got to know the community and the schools, and decided to build our life here. The open space, greenery, forest just below our home, and slower pace brought more calm to our everyday lives. We met warm, welcoming people who smile from the heart.

The balance between the fast pace I experience at work and the peace and quiet at home is exactly what I needed.

People, data, and processes, connected and working together.
